This project explores an alternative approach to fluid simulation using hair dynamics to generate wave motion in a viscous liquid environment.
Technical Breakdown:
1️⃣ Hair Simulation – Hair strands were simulated to create controlled movement.
2️⃣ Ring Collision – The hair collides with a ring, generating wave-like motion.
3️⃣ Velocity Extraction – The movement was converted into velocity data using Geometry VOP.
4️⃣ DOP Network Integration – The velocity was applied to the fluid simulation, creating a natural wave effect.

Why This Method?
✅ Alternative approach to traditional force-driven simulations
✅ More control over wave motion through hair parameters
✅ Efficient method for small-scale viscous liquid effects
This technique offers a new way to control wave behavior in fluid simulations, making it useful for specialized motion effects in VFX and animation.
Conclusion & Future Experiments
This was an exciting experiment in fluid control using non-traditional methods. Possible improvements include:
✔ Refining the wave behavior for larger-scale simulations
✔ Combining AI-driven enhancements to improve realism
